The rest of this week

Hi! This week has flown by.
Hard to believe that a week has gone by since the wedding.
Lets see. Tuesday I hit rock bottom. I guess with the wedding and exhaustion and the ever pressing question of what I am going to do when the kids go to school, I hit bottom. I was tired and the kids and I decided to clean up after ourselves and the dump of stuff. We vacuumed, picked up our rooms and tried to get things organized.
Wednesday was Chris' last day before some time off. We picked up some groceries and played. By Thursday, I had nothing to do to keep my mind off the stress I have been going on. I broke down and slept most of the day. Chris took the kids to the park and to Target. After journalling and praying and crying, I felt a little better. I guess just the overwhelming unknown and loss of my position of full-time stay-at-home mom is getting to me.
We woke up today and had decided to go fishing, but instead, Chris slept in and the kids and I played. Then, this afternoon we went to Happy Holler, a fishing place north of here. We got there around 3pm. We caught about 10-15 little to medium fish. Hannah caught the most. We told her she got to pick where we ate for supper. By the time we realized how long we had been there, it was moving on 8pm. We headed home, hitting Mc Donalds on the way home. We got back around 10pm. Looks like another day of sleeping in tomorrow too.
Tomorrow is Nathan's t-ball game and Chris wants to hit the flea market south of town.
On Sunday we are headed to Branson for a mini family vacation. Chris won free lodging down there. We get $30 in food vouchers and tickets to Celebration City. All we are paying for is gas. I will probably write about it the next time I am on.
One more thing, if you would all pray for my aunt. She had back surgery on Wednesday. I talked to her daughter today and she was in therapy. Up and walking around. If you could keep her in your prayers. I am praying that she will feel better and if the surgery doesn't do what she was hoping, that she will keep her faith and keep pressing on to what God has in store for her. She is an amazing woman who loves God a lot.
Well, I need to head to bed. it is almost tomorrow.
All my love and prayers
