I am so glad it is March. I love springtime! it is my favorite season of the year. My tulips have blossomed 6 blooms and my hyacinths are getting ready to burst through the mulch.
I love spring!!
Well, i meant to post a blog last Tuesday, after I was called in to sub for a 3rd grade teacher at colemanon Monday. it was a lot of fun. I really liked it. they called me tuesday night to sub Wednesday morning. i got there and it was a miscommunication, so i worked in the office as a volunteer all morning. I really had a good time, getting to know more moms and such. My friend Margret and i walked friday and she volunteers at he daughters high scho ol. We talked about how it was almost easier and more fun to be a part of the school setting than our churches because the response from the schools seem to be, "sure, we would love to have you help us anywhere." where as our consistant response from our church is one of, "Well, we will have to see where we might be able to fit you in." And then nothing happens.
We wondered why that was. That a stay-at-home mom is more welcome at the school than the church. Anyways. Friday night was what they called the fun fest. Since I m a homeroom mom, Sephra Brown and I were inc charge of the bowling game. She brought her son Seth and i took nathan. chris and hannah came later. it was fun. games in the gym and ways to earn prizes and stuff. it was really fun. Chris had gone to a men's retreat friday night and saturday , so after he got home, we went to pizza hut to cash in nathan's book it. Then we got the kids new mattresses with our tax return. WE were bushed and went to bed early.
sunday was church and my first sunday back in the 2 and 3's after a quarter break. They wanted me to try out a new curriculm in there. We only had 9 kids, but it was crazy. The story board was a flop and that room just isn't conducive for busy little feet. it is a little clausterphobic with them all energetic and no place to take them. i am going to go in and see if there is a way to rearrange things to make more space in there, so that there is a learning area and a just being a 2 year old area. Most of the ones in there are just 2 and attention spans are short. super sweet, but just too much going on in the room.
Well, gotta go get some groceries. Chris closes tonight, so it is just the kids and i. This Friday our church is having a movie night. They are showing FAcing the giants in the gym and having popcorn, hot dogs and sodas. it should be fun. Saturday is Abrams's 2nd birthday and his party. The kids are looking forward to that.
i am just hoping for warm weather. I think we all could use the perk up. Kids are ready to be outside.
Until next time, keep loving like Christ!!

Thanks for the comment Angel.
I'm so sad that I'll be out of town March 30. We come home from Anderson, IN on March 31. I so wish I could meet you guys. Any chance they'll be coming through on their way home? I know that Lorna's parents aren't doing great, so I didn't know what their plans were.
My new e-mail is saralhill@gmail.com. I'll send my cell # a different way.
Love you guys!
